Objective of job
• Conceive, design and simulate future enhancements for Mercedes Benz user interfaces.
• Create visual interfaces for Mercedes Benz cars with great attention to detail
• Become a contributing part of the international Daimler design community

Qualification
• Education
- Bachelor/Master degree in industry/media/interaction design, computer science (focus computer graphics) or related field
• Experience
- Ideally: experience in Automotive industry
- Preferred: experience in creative agency, IT company, games industry or related
• Specific Knowledge
- Sufficient English communication skills. (German is a big plus)
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to learn new tools and do self-guided work within a fast-paced environment
- Strong visual design skills demonstrated in Portfolio
- Baseline: Strong knowledge in Photoshop & Illustrator
- Big plus: knowledge with 3D tools (e.g. modo, maya, cinema4D)

Task description
• Visually design in-car User Interfaces for current and coming products (as 2D, 3D or motion graphics)
• Design & conceptualize the ideal user experience within the vehicle
• Keep track of UI trends and latest developments + identify impact on our work
• Align market specific designs & ideas with worldwide counterparts
